For so many reasons it can be difficult to feel fully heard by our family or friends.

Everyone is so busy or preoccupied with their own stuff.

Perhaps they don't make enough space for what you have to say leaving you feeling overlooked and undervalued.

Maybe you have learned to edit and silence yourself because what is the point of talking anyway.

Sound familiar?

That is one of the beautiful things about therapy.

As your therapist I get to make space for you to be properly heard.

I get to ask and hear what is genuinely going on for you right now.

This is a privilege and a part of the therapy that often isn't replicated in our everyday life.

You get to fully speak your mind and work through your thoughts and even explore them with art.

Being truly heard in therapy can help us to feel less sensitive in relationships.

Being heard in therapy can allow you to can go about your life feeling less bottled up and burdened.

Being heard in therapy can have a positive impact on your real life.

Wouldn't that be nice?
